Top Talent Pass

WorkModerate

The Top Talent Pass Scheme targets high-income individuals and graduates of world's top universities to work in Hong Kong without prior employer sponsorship.

Overview

The Top Talent Pass Scheme (TTPS) aims to attract global high-income earners and graduates of the world's top universities to work in Hong Kong. It is divided into three categories: Category A for individuals with annual income meeting a high threshold in the year before application; Category B for holders of a bachelor's degree from a global top 100 university with at least three years of work experience; Category C for holders of such a degree with less than three years of work experience. Successful applicants receive a two-year stay visa, allowing them to work or start a business in Hong Kong freely without employer sponsorship. Renewal requires proof of employment or business operation in Hong Kong. The scheme has no industry restrictions and offers fast processing, making it a popular choice for high-end talent relocating to Hong Kong.

Requirements

  • Category A: Annual income in the year before application meets the high threshold (tax documents, etc., required).
  • Category B: Bachelor's degree from a global top 100 university and at least three years of work experience.
  • Category C: Bachelor's degree from a global top 100 university and less than three years of work experience (subject to annual quota, first-come-first-served).
  • All categories: No criminal record and ability to demonstrate financial support for living in Hong Kong.
