What immigrate.io is

immigrate.io is a free website for people planning to move to Canada. It has a CRS calculator, a history of Express Entry draws, a provincial nominee stream finder and plain-language pathway guides. The site works in English and nine other languages.

Our mission

Official immigration information is public, but it is spread across many government pages and written for administrators as much as for applicants. We want anyone, in their own language, to be able to see where they stand and what the official rules say, without paying anyone and without having to trust a summary they cannot check.

That is why every rule on the site links to the government page it comes from, with the date we last checked it.

Who runs the site

immigrate.io is an independent project. It is not a law firm or an immigration consultancy, and nobody on the site gives legal advice or represents applicants. You can reach the people behind it at contact@immigrate.io.

Independence

  • immigrate.io is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the Government of Canada, or any province or territory.
  • No government, law firm, consultant or school pays for anything on the site, and nothing on it is a paid placement.
  • The site shows no advertising.
  • Applications are made only on government websites, and government fees are paid only to governments. We never ask for your documents, passport details or file numbers.

How we make money

Today we don’t: every tool and guide is free. We are building an optional application workspace and a way to reach licensed professionals. Neither exists yet. When they launch they will be clearly labelled, and they will not change what our guides and tools say.
