Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information immigrate.io collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible and to be plain about it.
Information we collect
- Assessment answers. The details you provide — such as age, nationality, education, work history, language ability, family situation, available funds and goals — so we can match you to immigration pathways, estimate your scores, and build your report.
- Email address. When you take the assessment, join a waitlist, or buy a report, so we can deliver your results and report link and respond to support requests.
- Payment information. When you purchase a report, your payment is processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details (such as the amount and a transaction ID); we never receive or store your full card number.
- Basic usage data. Standard, largely anonymous analytics (such as pages visited) to understand and improve the Service.
How we use it
- To generate your pathway matches, score estimates and personalized report.
- To deliver what you asked for by email and provide customer support.
- To process your payment and issue refunds.
- To operate, secure and improve the Service.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers who process data only on our behalf:
- Stripe — payment processing. Your payment details are handled directly by Stripe under its own privacy terms.
- Supabase — our database and hosting for your assessment, report and account records.
- Resend — sending your results and report emails.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your assessment answers with third parties to market immigration services to you. We may disclose information if required by law.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies and similar technologies needed to run the site (for example, to keep the Service secure and to measure basic, aggregate usage). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the Service may not work as intended.
Data retention
We keep your assessment answers and report for as long as needed to provide the Service and to meet legal, accounting and dispute-resolution obligations, after which we delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time (see below).
Your rights & choices
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, and you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To make a request, email support@mail.immigrate.io and we’ll action it promptly.
