These terms apply to your use of immigrate.io (the “site”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Tools and information, not legal advice

The site provides free tools and general information about immigrating to Canada and some other countries. It is not legal advice and is no substitute for advice about your own situation. Using the site does not create a lawyer–client or consultant–client relationship with anyone. We are not lawyers or licensed immigration consultants, and we do not represent anyone before a government.

Results such as a CRS score, a comparison with past draw cutoffs or a list of provincial streams to review are estimates based on the information you enter and on criteria published by governments. They are not a decision and not a prediction. Only Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and the provinces and territories decide who is invited, nominated or approved. For advice about your own case, speak to a lawyer or a licensed immigration consultant (RCIC).

2. Not affiliated with IRCC or any government

immigrate.io is an independent website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for IRCC, the Government of Canada, any province or territory, or any other government. Official forms and applications are only available from government websites, and government fees are paid only to governments.

3. Accuracy of information

We link facts on the site to the government page they come from and show when information was last checked. Immigration rules, fees and draw results change, sometimes without notice, and data such as Express Entry draws comes from IRCC’s published feed and may appear on the site with a delay. Always check the official source before you act. Where the site and an official source differ, the official source is correct.

4. Draw alerts

Draw alerts are free. You will receive them only after you confirm your address, and you can unsubscribe at any time from the link in each email. We may change or stop the alerts at any time. Alerts are sent after our system detects a new draw in IRCC’s published data, so they can arrive later than IRCC’s own announcement. 5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the site for anything unlawful or to mislead anyone;
  • interfere with the site’s operation or security, or try to access parts of it that are not public;
  • send automated requests at a rate that burdens the site;
  • sign up other people for alerts without their permission;
  • present the site’s content as official government information or as your own professional advice.

6. Content and links

The site’s design, text and code belong to immigrate.io. You may share links to any page and quote short passages with a link back. Government information we summarize or link to remains subject to the terms of the government that publishes it. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.

7. No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no promise that it will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or free of errors, and we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, immigrate.io is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site, its tools or its alerts, including decisions you make about an immigration application. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited by agreement.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
