Do you need a TB test for a UK Skilled Worker visa?
Only if you're coming to the UK for 6 months or more and you've lived in a listed country for 6 months or more.
GOV.UK states this as a set of conditions that must all be true, not as a general requirement — which is why the Skilled Worker document list files it under "might be asked" rather than under what you'll need to provide. Whether the country you've lived in is on the list is something you check against GOV.UK's list; this page does not decide it.
“You'll need to have a tuberculosis (TB) test if all of the following are true: you're coming to the UK for 6 months or more, you've lived in any of these listed countries for 6 months or more.”

When this answer doesn’t apply
- · Whether a specific country is on GOV.UK's list is not answered here. GOV.UK publishes the list and it changes.
- · The rule is about where you have lived, not your nationality.
These are limits of the answer, not a judgment about any reader’s situation. Working out which apply is yours to do.
